General information regarding doctoral supervision by Professor A. Marantelli

Enquires about writing a doctoral dissertation on tax law should be sent directly to Professor A. Marantelli by e-mail (adriano.marantelli@unibe.ch). Please also attach three proposed topics, your transcript (MLaw and similar), CV and a copy of a piece of written work (for example a term paper or master’s thesis, case study or other publication).

The three potential topics must be submitted as extended project proposals (each between three and five pages).

This is followed by a personal interview.

In the event of a positive decision, the candidate and institute will draw up an agreement (doctoral candidate agreement) governing the schedule and procedure, duration, objectives and framework for the doctorate as well as any other responsibilities. Periodic meetings during the course of your doctoral studies will provide the opportunity to discuss thematic and conceptional aspects of the dissertation as well as theoretical and methodologically relevant questions.
